First Flight of F-100 in 5 Years!

The combined team efforts of Collings Foundation and Vietnam War Flight Museum have led to a successful first flight of the F-100F N26AZ. Today at Ellington Field in Houston a flight was achieved with pilots Rick Sharpe Jr. as well as Jerod Flohr with 3 low pass touch-n-goes to stretch the legs of the airplane which has been sitting for quite some time.

Thank you to everyone who came out to help, and to see the flight, the airplane (and others!) will be flying more soon!
